I can tell you this first hand because I’ve been there and done that. Once, upon a time I was seriously unhappy, unhealthy and unfit.
I was chronically sick. I was taking 7 medications at one time. I had to have 2 sinus surgeries within 1 year. *It sucked* I was always sad, too. I didn’t seem to enjoy things or laugh as much as everyone else. My hair seemed flat. My skin was a mess. I felt like I was aging light-years ahead of time… the complete opposite of Benjamin Button. Also, I was 30 pounds over my goal weight… the number I like to see when I step on the scale. I know you have your own number, too. It’s, like, the number you feel best at, and every time you don’t see it, it hurts your soul…
I can’t just do any old diet either… You see my snowflake is extra unique. I’ve had heart surgery. I’m under strict guidelines about foods I cannot have and exercises I can’t do. Otherwise… well, it’s lights out for me. Plus, I have tons of allergies. I simply can’t eat certain things, otherwise it seriously affects my ability to want to get out of bed. Honestly, I don’t really like exercising either! I have better things to do… I could get motivated, but it didn’t last.

That’s exactly why I knew I had to create my own program. A program that would work for me, my body type, my tastebuds… a plan that would also allow me to master motivation, so I’d stick with it. I had to become a nutritionist, personal trainer, weight loss and wellness coach, master motivation and behavior modification expert… It took me about 7 years of school, thousands (and thousands) of dollars, and a lot of blood, sweat and tears… but I did it. I freaking did it.
