Getting rid of fat from your love handles can be difficult. There are so many different muscles that need to be targeted in order to tone those areas. The solution? Lose your Love-handles Workout
You’ll need to do 3 sets of 15-25 reps, for all 6 of these exercises. Repeat each exercise, 15 to 25 times, to complete 1 set. Repeat the entire series, 3 times, to complete your workout. I recommend starting with 15 and working your way up to 25 as you get stronger. For the best results, try this workout twice a week, with 3 days of recovery time, in between.
The Wood Chop
Start with your feet shoulder width apart, and your knees slightly bent. With a weight in your hand, start with your arm across your body, holding the weight with both hands next to the opposite hip. Bring your arm up and diagonally across your body. This works the muscles on your sides where your love handles are. Make sure you are using your core to move the weight, not just your arms.
Stand with your feet shoulder width apart. Hold your weight in one hand and your other hand over your head. Bend to the side the weight is on and try to take the weight to the floor, and then come back up. If you place your hand on the side that you don’t have the weight on, you should be able to feel the muscles engage.
The Side Plank
Lay on your side using your elbow for support. Make sure your elbow and shoulder are in a straight line. Spread your palm out to allow for better support. Put your feet on top of each other and lift up. Hold the position for as long as you can.
To do the superman exercise, lay on your stomach with your hands below your face palms down. You’re then going to lift both your upper and lower body so that your upper torso and your legs come off the ground. Do a few repetitions of this to tighten and tone your lower back.
The Bicycle Crunch
Lay on your back with your hands behind your head. Bring your legs up to a 90 degree angle. Bring your right knee towards your chest and crunch up to meet it with your left elbow and back down. Repeat with the other side.
Sit on your bottom with your knees bent and feet flat on the ground. You should be leaning back at a 45 degree angle. You can hold a weight in your hands, or you can choose not to. Lift your feet off the ground and cross them at the ankles. Twist to the right and touch the ground next to your hip with the weight or your hand. Twist back to the left and do the same.
